Whether you are ill, or need more business or are learning a new skill, discovering the misconception of the idea of 'now' or the 'present' as we refer to it, will transform your view of things. In addition, seeing how a certain way of being, 'putting things off', literally forbids you from having what you want - now. You can take two seemingly harmless chemicals, put them together and a reaction causing considerable change can occur. We shall look at two sources of knowledge that when merged will transform the way in which you know everything. This is precisely what we are going to do here.

The first is the idea of now, what we assume is the present and the way we know it to be. We don't think about it much, it is lived as an 'is' of life, it is just that way, no questions asked. Now and the Present as we refer to those terms, are ideas seeming to be something beyond the past but not yet the future. The future is where our wants and wishes sit and wait, and it appears to be in a place not here yet. We consider ourselves to be not in acim  past and not in the future but here, right now. And so, forever man has lived within this mindset living as though this is the way it is, but we shall consider something new.

What we refer to as now is an error in perception, one of enormous importance. What is it then? Now, as the term implies is not the present - it is the past!. More precisely it is the initial moments of the past. There are numerous concerns here which I will say a bit more about later. Your birth was sometime ago in the past and the moment of your birth was the initial moment of your past history. So 'now' precedes the past would seem logical.

The second piece of knowledge is the affect - completing things has on the initial moments of the past. Specifically we will look at how 'putting things off' precludes ever having the things you want in life. This is a way of being, influencing what we call now, what you experience in the present as your life situations and circumstances. We are reacting to what we call now in a way that doesn't serve us.

Now is not in time, I like to refer to it as the state of the about to be, where ones intentions are put forth in the form of ideas and it materializes into the first moments its existence. Preceding a moment of recognition - there is nothing. We can reflect upon the moment preceding that (a past moment) as it has come into existence. A technical look at it is not necessary, it's really not that complicated as we'll see.

We manage two components our life, one residing in the about to be and the other in the initial moments of the past - what we were calling now.

Think of it this way, you are always an 'asking for' being. That sounds odd I know but whether you know it or not each moment you look outward you are actually asking to see something, it is happening non stop, and it's occurring quite rapidly. 'Ask and it is given' is more than a saying, it is a law, and it is your natural way of being. If your way of being is 'putting things off' you are an asking for - putting off the experiences you desire. You want it, but not right now.

Please be sure to further your discovery of the richness the law of attraction provides. I consider Abraham-Hicks to be the leading source communicating about this law. If you wish to learn more on the practical application of this law for any number of topics, I can easily be found on the internet.
