CLEVELAND - After a couple brutal days of baseball for the Indians, Saturday was a lot more like it for the team many have going to the World Series in the American League, as the Tribe feasted on Justin Verlander and the Detroit Tigers for a 13-6 win. The big star of the day was Jose Ramirez, who pounded his way to two homers, a career-high 6 RBI and a day in which he had four hits, setting the pace for a huge day, the biggest of the season, for the Indians offense. Kluber Outduels Mrs.Upton It was a day to forget for Tigers starter Justin Verlander, as the Indians beat on Sonny Jurgensen Jersey him for nine runs on 11 hits in four innings, building a big lead before the Tigers clawed their way back into the game against Indians starter Corey Kluber. The Indians ace struck out the side in the first to set the tone, and on the day allowed six runs, striking out eight over 6.1 innings of work. He walked two and gave up eight hits, but was pitching with a huge lead and was able to keep the team ahead, and then turned it over to the pen of Andrew Miller and Cody Allen to secure the win. Kluber is now 1-1 on the Daron Payne Jersey season and will start on Thursday afternoon in Minnesota against the Twins. 3. Fans Coming Out It may be just five games, but the Indians faithful are coming out and being more engaged with this team, which is not hard to believe after the team came within a game of winning the World Series. Thus far five games into the home slate the club is averaging 23,560 (117,804 fans so far), which is up from 19,588 through the first five games of 2016 (97,942). It's been documented that the team has already sold quite a few tickets this season, as many so far as it took them till into July to sell last season.
