Electronics CAD and Mechanical CAD PLM

As much of the world continues to work remotely, it is critical to communicate product designs throughout organizations where the electronics and mechanical engineers are often hundreds, maybe thousands, of miles apart. Sharing and aligning the overwhelming number of designs can be unmanageable, making this simple task risky to any collaborative project. To get more news about mechanical cad, you can visit shine news official website.

Corporations with multiple activities and domains are looking for their single source of truth that can be lost in the remote communications of being global and spread across sites and the need is for a system that incorporate the work in progress designs, changes, final output and documentations.
It is capable in delivering a unique arrangement of designs eliminating the misalignment in the design lifecycle process. By managing the printed circuit board designs that have representation in the Electronics CAD and Mechanical CAD, Teamcenter then takes the designs through a seamless lifecycle of the product from inception to manufacturing.

Teamcenter integration with Xpedition and NX
The video below walks you through how Teamcenter integrates with ECAD and MCAD. The video starts as an electronic engineer wants to create a layout design from the printed circuit board. The electronic engineer sends the design through Teamcenter to control the information flow to the mechanical board. This is happening while the mechanical engineer is concurrently developing the printed circuit board packaging space in the product context. The electronics engineer modifies the ECAD model in Xpedition to accommodate for thermal analysis among the components in the product platform. The electronics engineer communicates the modification and limitations back in Teamcenter. The mechanical engineer receives the modifications through the collaboration context into NX model and make the decision to update the Printed Circuit Board in the MCAD design.

This process improves the communications between the electronic and the mechanical engineers using the Teamcenter integrations and solves the problem of wrong designs that leads to manufacturing an incompatible product (printed circuit board assembly).
We know that sharing and aligning product designs can be unmanageable, increasing the risk level of any collaborative project. Teamcenter manages the flow of designs and the links of those designs effortlessly. It doesn’t matter whether they are electronic or mechanical representations, Teamcenter works with any analysis and has a single source of truth.
