While glass is a natural, and easily recyclable material, the unfortunate truth is that much of our glass ends up in landfills.
FREEZER METHOD ( easiest )
Place your spent candle in the freezer for 1 hour.
When removed, the wax will be hard and brittle. Using a butter knife, gently crack the wax away and discard. ( Our waxes are 100% natural and biodegrade like vegetable oils ). Using a fork or pliers, remove the metal “Wick Tab” on the bottom.
Hand-wash clean with warm, soapy water.

OVEN METHOD
Preheat your oven to the lowest temperature ( No higher than 170 F ). Place your candle vessel on a baking sheet, and heat in oven for 10-15 minutes.
Remove from oven and discard any excess wax. You may need to use fork or pliers to remove the metal “wick-tab” on the bottom. Hand-wash clean with warm, soapy water.

STOVE METHOD
For this method, you are essentially creating a double boiler. Fill a medium pot halfway with water, Bring a gentle simmer. Once heated, place your candle in the water bath ( do not submerge ), and turn heat down, to low. Water should NOT be boiling. Discard excess wax and hand-wash clean with warm, soapy water.
