KOKOMO, Ind. -- The City of Firsts will add another notch to its belt as it welcomes the state's first electric vehicle battery production plant. The project will be the first of its kind in North America and will cement Kokomo as a leader in the automotive industry as we move toward an electric future. Through a joint venture called Star Plus Energy, South Korean company Stellantis and Samsung SDI will produce lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles in the city's downtown industrial park. The joint venture will bring in 1,400 jobs at the onset and is expected to open by 2025.

Unlike flat-plate batteries, tubular inverter batteries can be deep discharged without damaging their capacity. In addition, they have a longer lifespan than conventional batteries and can hold a charge for much longer, reducing the need to re-charge frequently. This makes them an ideal backup power solution for Nigeria.

For those with diabetes, these batteries can help maintain a healthy blood sugar level. They can also be used in conjunction with a meter to monitor blood sugar levels and to make sure they are within a healthy range. Those who are trying to lose weight may also find these batteries helpful. They are low in sugar and can help control cravings for sweet treats.
